Fastest MINI Ever Tackles the Red Bull Stunt Plane
The John Cooper Works GP battles the Red Bull Stunt Plane at a track in Austria.
Rally driver Armindo Araujo is as comfortable in the air as he is in the new Mini John Cooper Works GP. The Red Bull Stunt Plane might be faster than the JCW GP, however as Mini's fastest model still looks good competing on the track. Called the "Most incredible MINI location check ever," the Mini handles it well running on its 1.6-liter turbocharged four-pot, producing 211 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque.
For an idea of how well the new Mini JCW GP handles the track, it ran the vaunted Nurburgring Nordschleife in 8 minutes and 23 seconds. The latest Mini promo for the fast hatch was filmed at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
