Starting with the 1984 model, the fourth-gen Vette was packed with plenty of enhancements including an impressively low drag coefficient, anti-lock brakes, traction control and run-flat tires. This generation is also remembered for its clamshell-design hood, giving unprecedented access to the engine and suspension.
