Description: There was a time when cars were cars and trucks were trucks. The defining trait? Cars were designed around unibody construction, and trucks were built body-on-frame. Those were the days of early sport...Add Comments4

Stephen CobbsAug 06, 2012 @David. This is true. Never thought about that.
David JusticeAug 06, 2012 Ford and Nissan probably kept the names Explorer and Pathfinder because of marketing, brand recognition, etc. but I wish they just called their crossovers something else. I like that it's the Chevy Traverse and not the Trailblazer.
Preston HarrisAug 15, 2012 Another great icon has fallen...
Ryan Douglas HieAug 06, 2012 It resembles the Subaru Outback to me, except with a better grill. No longer an SUV, but a tall wagon. Homogenized design.
