I know they arent very special but after driving with them for a while, they do a really good job of acting as real gears.
it's sad though because those paddle shifters are fake. a cvt is designed to provide max efficiency at every rpm. I would assume the paddles just make the tranny jerk slightly... yay.
My mom has an Impreza with the CVT and its honestly not that bad but i usually am always using the paddle shifters on it to make it more fun. But i dont think an SUV needs one

Ford and Nissan probably kept the names Explorer and Pathfinder because of marketing, brand recognition, etc. but I wish they just called their crossovers something else. I like that it's the Chevy Traverse and not the Trailblazer.
