Matt, the Vette has to follow tradition. It has to LOOK like a vette. It's a Vette, it can't change Willy nilly like Ferrari does.
The f12 looks a bit like each of those cars, and then a bit of a new design... The c6 looks like a c5 with litterally no flipups and a few added curves

It's more than that. And all cars are like that. Ferrari 599-enzo engine+F70 engine+bodylines-transmission+better transmission= F12 Berlinetta.
I think this was chevy's formula for the c6.... C5- flipup's + solid headlamps + cheap plastic + a few bodily curves - c5 badge + c6 badge - old drive trains + new ones = new vette for 7 years... All done
@ brain... How doesn't that make sence, I liked the c6 for a few years, my taste changed, new cars were released, and I don't care for it anymore... How doesn't thy make SENCE? It just looks soooooooo aged now...
I know when I'm beat, but Vettes did have drastic styling changes time from time (C2-C3) but underneath was subtle improvements. I could understand if he hates the Vette after "loving" it, but he shouldn't have loved it at all if he thought it didn't change enough.

Because he said he loved them. I love Vettes and I probably won't hate them unless there is a MAJOR change. It's called evolution, the Vette doesn't change that much, but improves on what it has. But if it goes to V6 anytime soon, I don't know what to think.
Well it's cuz I liked the c5, but the c6 wasn't a huge change, so I think I just got bored of it quickly... I did like the c6 for a few years though

It would look a lot better if the design for the car wasn't from the early 2000s. It looks old and outdated.

rotors ARE directional depending on the way the cooling vanes inside them face. they're usually consistent with the drills/slots but there are few cases where they aren't
I think he's talking about the direction of the slots. Mine are like this on my car but I've seen them the other way too

Corvettes are one of the few cars that can pull the top off and still look fantastic.
