2014 Mercedes C-Class Caught on the 'Ring

The fully-cladded C-Class has been spotted during its initial Nurburgring test drive.
We have seen the new 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class several times before testing on the open road and now our intrepid spy photographers have travelled all the way to the Nurburgring to capture the elusive sedan running a few hot laps on the famed German track. Known internally as the BR205, the new C-Class was heavily camouflaged while making the rounds on the Nordschleife, undergoing the usual high speed testing program Mercedes runs their new models through.

We have, however, noticed that the sedan stays true to Mercedes' new styling language of rounded air-outlets on the front while there will be a larger panoramic roof for the next generation car. As previously reported by CarBuzz, the new C-Class sedan will arrive in 2014 and be followed six months later by the wagon and a year later by the coupe, convertible and possibly a midsize sports tourer. The new C-Class will be offered with a hybrid drivetrain for the first time along with a more conventional lineup of gasoline and diesel engines.
