Classic 1969 Camaro Has a Slot-Car Track

Another form of classic race car restoration for the kid in all of us.

Back in the late 1960s, Penske Racing's Chevrolet Camaro Z28's tore up the track in the Trans-Am series. This was before Penske made the switch to the AMC Javelin in 1970, but driver Mark Donohue managed to win many victories in the Z28 and continued to do so in the Javelin. Any of those surviving Trans Am cars are more than likely worth a pretty penny today, but this '69 Camaro Z28 is a tad different. Why exactly? The crew over at Slot Mods has literally turned it into a track, a slot-car track to be precise.

Check out the video to see their creation that was apparently on display this past weekend at Pebble Beach. For those ever wanting the ultimate slot-car track, this may just be the think you've been looking for.
