20-Year Old Crashes California During Test Drive in Russia

A 13 million rubles crash caused by a kid is no small matter in Samara.

In the southwestern Russian town of Samara, a 20-year old Russian went for a test drive in a white Ferrari California. The drive didn't end well, however, as according to the driver a pedestrian jumped into the road and he was forced to swerve in order to miss him. The end result? A rough crash into a security barrier. Both the driver and a representative from the dealership from where he was loaned the car who was sitting in the passenger's seat were unharmed.

Samara is Russia's sixth largest city and it's safe to say that high-end performance models aren't a regular sight on the roadways. According to Russian website Vninform, a new Ferrari California costs 13 million rubles, which is a little over $407,000. Let's hope the dealer had a good insurance plan.
