335 meaning in KW not Cubic Inches no change from Standard GT just tweaked suspension & Tyres for better handling which drew Criticism here from Standard GT's.
they changed this. because earlier it said HP in the 300s and I commented they could get way more HP out of it. and my comment is no longer here
Well it may beable to hold the title of best performance car in Australia for right now, but the new Commodore is coming out within a year. There is going to be a great battle between the two cars.
besides, wouldn't a .020 over 4.9 make it closer to 5.1-5.2 318-322ci? I didn't do the exact math, but I'm sure I'm not too far off the mark
Also because of 335 kw. The design teams goal was 335ci and 335kw to make 1kw/ci just like 100hp/liter is a cool figure. 1hp/ci isn't as impressive as 1kw/ci. 1kw is more powerful than 1 hp by about 50% net or 33% gross.
07-12* gt500's. I'm pretty sure it's naturally aspirated because I remember my 9.2/1 compression 5.4 swap made 370whp at 4600 ft of altitude which is about 430hp. The motor in this Australian model has 9.8/1 compression which would bump it up ~35hp
335 cubic inches because it's a .020" over bored 5.4l ford racing block. The 5.4L starts off at 331 cubic inches, then the over bore adds ~4.85 cubic inches. This motor also has 4v heads and is naturally aspirated, unlike the 05-12 gt500 5.4L

Actually the sedan is about $75,000 the utes are alot cheaper because they miss out on alot of the mechanical upgrades of the sedan
If you have a look at the last page the price is cheap as chips .. I'll have 3 and sell them $10,000 more which is still cheap as chips lol anyone can make a car black and pinstripe red .. Cheaper than the real deal lol...
if anything I would guess that this might share a chassis with the fusion/mondeo but I wouldn't be surprised if it wer its own I just wish we had these in the states I'm not a mustang fan but I would def consider getting one of these
The falcon is no where near even related to the taurus in fact every1 here in aus is complaining because they are planning to replace the falcon with the taurus

@David, yes but GM owns Holden, and he wasn't as specific to say the car had to be made 100% by GM, so the Bathurst counts.
Well David I'm sure the Dodge Charger can beat a SHO in almost every performance category, and the Chevy SS is coming so I think I'll pass on a SHO for my performance American Sedan.
That's a Holden. Not American made. And it's made with GM components. Not the whole car
@David, the VXR8 Bathurst is made by an arm of GM, and that does it a bit faster than the SHO, 4.9 seconds I believe (with a manual)
The new SHO has 365 hp can do 0-60 in 5.2 seconds with awd. Name a 4 door GM family car or dodge that can do that. And every ford vehicle I named were made up to 2003 and current. My dad drives a 2012 Boss 302 mustang and it's no slouch at all.
I don't think half of those cars exist today. SVT is dead as well. Other than the Stang, the only other Ford performance CAR over here is the SHO.

This would sell like wildfire here. Plenty of men with families who want the boss mustang but just cant justify it. I'd personally pick this over the mustang. One wicked car!

Minus utility? Mate this takes a bigger payload than your F150. My daily driver is the Holden (SSV) competitor to this and it rides/handles beautifully! With plenty of poke!
This body style (half car, half truck = carruck) is unsightly and pointless. It is a car minus the sex appeal and a truck minus the utility.

That's right Stephen! They love/use utes down there like crazy. Many of their cars have ute variants.

Well the Vauxhall Bathurst VXR is German so it doesn't really compete with an Australian model
if it was a bit more powerful, it would be good competition for the Bathurst VXR
