This time the unfortunate extended-range electric sports sedan was all ablaze in Woodside, California, where firefighters were caught on film putting out the flames. The fire concentrated around the driver's side of the car. Fisker was quick to release a statement confirming damage did not affect the lithium-ion battery or electric motors, while noting that the car was not being charged at the time. Fisker's engineers are investigating the cause of the fire in contact with the owner. A further statement will be released once the investigation has been concluded and the cause of the fire determined.
