ZR Auto’s 1,470hp Twin-Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo

Heffner-tuned and rebuilt in Canada, this twin-turbo Gallardo is getting ready for Race the Base 2012.

Heffner Performance is widely regarded as one of the top aftermarket tuners of Lamborghini. The Sarasota-based tuner's twin-turbocharger kits have been featured several times before on CarBuzz, and now Canadian shop ZR Auto has included the upgrades on an imposing bright orange Gallardo. The owner of the twin-turbo Lambo wore out the original OEM fuel injectors and stock bumpers along with burning multiple cylinders, so he took it to ZR for a rebuild, along with some key upgrades.

The end product packs some impressive power. With the turbos fitted and the ECU remapped, the custom Gallardo now cranks out an awesome 1,470 horsepower. Set to run alongside ZR Auto's rebuilt Ferrari Enzo at the 2012 Race the Base Challenge charity event in Alberta in a few weeks' time, the Heffner Performance twin-turbo Lamborghini Gallardo is guaranteed to turn some heads, and press a couple into the back of their leather-trimmed seats.
