Chris Harris Races Radical SR3 with Speed Record Holder
Andy Green prepares to top 1,000 mph in the Bloodhound SSC by racing in a Radical with everyone's favorite Monkey.
Something a bit different from Harris' latest drive installment sees the little guy team up with Andy Green - holder of the current land speed record at 763 mph - to race in the Dunlop Radical UK cup at Brands Hatch. The former RAF fighter pilot spent the weekend racing the Radical to help him prepare to hit 1,000 mph in the Bloodhound SSC - essentially a jet without wings - on a salt lake bed. Although ten times as fast, there is a surprising amount of similarities between the vehicles' handling, which Green explains as best he can.
Fascinating insight punctuated with cool racing action makes for another quality Harris production.
