The
Ford F-150 SVT Raptor and
Mopar's
Ram Runner are two of the meanest trucks on the road. Both were engineered to handle off-road racing, although where the Raptor is available straight off the assembly line, the Ram Runner comes from a dealer-installed kit. On paper at least, they are evenly matched across the board. Both are powered by 16-valve V8s with about 400 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, sent to all four wheels through six-speed automatics for about $46k apiece.
