Ford Performance Vehicles has created a blacked-out Falcon GT for the Sydney Motor Show.

Ford Australia's Performance Vehicles department has just released the first shots of possibly the fastest Falcon GT ever produced. Known internally as the 'Panther,' the ultra-aggressive and blacked-out sedan could be the successor to the GTHO from years' past. In the power department, the new FPV Falcon GT will utilize the stock version's 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine.

Rated at 450 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, the Panther's performance will be enhanced via revised gearing, a retuned suspension and wider wheels measuring 19-inches. According to Drive Australia, thanks to these changes and tweaks the Ford Falcon GT is expected to reach 62mph from rest in just under five seconds. It will reach an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph. The Ford Performance Vehicles Falcon GT Panther is expected to debut in October at the Sydney Motor Show.
