Bentley Shows Off its EXP 9 F Concept

People are slowly but surely being swayed by the luxury SUV concept, but please Bentley, give it a sensible name.

High-end SUVs represent big business for the Volkswagen Group. Porsche, now full part of the auto giant, made an enormous success of the Cayenne. VW and Audi each got into the game with the full-size Touareg and Q7 models before branching out into smaller SUVs. Lamborghini is preparing to release the aggressive Urus, and Bentley is keen to follow suit. It showed off the EXP 9 F concept at the Geneva Motor Show this year and brought it again to Goodwood, but this latest video and batch of photos present our first chance to see it in motion.

Granted that it would be more appealing with a proper name, but for some unfathomable reason, the more we see of the EXP 9 F, the less we hate it. If enough buyers feel the same way - particularly when it appears at Pebble Beach next month - Bentley just might put it into production.

According to the British carmaker: "the new material reaffirms the concept's innovative fusion of contemporary, crafted luxury, advanced technology, commanding driving position and all-terrain capability."
