"Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" with Jerry Seinfeld
Jerry Seinfeld shares his love for classic cars with the top comedians in Hollywood in new show.
Jerry Seinfeld may be best known for the hit sit-com that bore his name, but he's also a huge car nut. In fact when NBC was considering making an American version of Top Gear, Seinfeld was said to be at the top of the list for potential hosts. Instead Seinfeld pitched an unsuccessful show called "The Marriage Ref", but this next project could stand to redeem the king of observational humor.
The project, as you can see from the video below, is simply called "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee", and appears to involve Jerry picking up some of his colleagues in various classic cars and going out for a cup of joe. The show is set to premier on Thursday, July 19, and looks prime to tickle our funny bone just the right way.
