Sorry the GT500 wheels are "similar" but, in my mind, unmistakable with those beauties on the Gallardo LP560-4. Ha
Grabber blue is one hell of a color. I'd get my Camaro in silver with black rims. Boom!!
The red looks really good on the gt500!! Only color I'd rather have it in is the bright blue they come in..

I find this funny cuz I find the back of the camaro a lot more attractive than the front but everyone else is opposite... I don't seem to like cars where the headlights are behind (older muscle cars) or in (current camaro, chally) the grill
It's okay, let it all out. It gets people raging haha. Anyways the Camaro's back is ugly. But IMO the front looks killer with the splitter, stacked fogs and the ECF mohawk.
I think it's ugly all around. Obviously that's just my opinion. Not that it matters to anyone.
GT500 looks better from behind but the ZL1 looks a tad bit better in the front
A muscle car is a muscle car u risk gas mileage for power no matter what. It's not ur parents Nissan leaf for a reason
For those who would choose the camaro over the mustang for a day to day driving car think about it. The camaro is good for day to day driving but you have terrible gas mileage and have to pay gas guzzlers tax while the mustang has better gas mileage and does not have to pay tax so the mustang is for me no matter what!
I'll take them both without stripes in either black or light grey.
I think that many people often forget that stock muscle cars are a blank canvas. They are cars that are sold with un-tapped potential that the owner can unlock through modding.
God bless them both, love them. When the ZL-1 fixes that interior I will buy one.
Big cars are great but with a bit of tuning with the super charger on the zl1 it could be running 740 hp and 780 ft. Lbs. torque. They had to tune down the zl1 cause they didn't want it out doing the zr1 corvette. I'd rather have the camaro

The Camaro is a much better car.
Finally someone gets the point. It's about the sound, the look, the straight line speed, the absolute scare you get from driving it... Not the speed around tracks and ride quality. I want to be scared to death when I drive the ultimate muscle car, not find it easy.. Love em both, but GT500 wins this one...
ZL1 for me. Love em. 2 seconds faster around the track too? Nice.
It was a great review. And for once no arguing. Also I'm 5'10" and I feel cramped and small in the Chevy. I've been in the mustang and it is easier to see out of. And Shelby for me.
Yea, I really gotta admit, both look outstanding, both have the power. They are both awesome...especially in red..
It has visibility issues, trust me, I'm a doctor... Haha I have one and it's not horrible but if you are 6'3" you shouldn't have a problem. If your shorter though, you will have problems looking over the hood and then the stupid A pillar.
I'd take both, and a Boss LS

I don't know why some you guys are talking about having visibility isues with the zl1. I'm 6 ft 3 inches and when I sat in one I had to pull the seat forward and I could see fine through all windows.

I love them both, but I prefer the cobra over the zl1 any day of the week.

Yeah they were scary but it was due to a lack of technology not because they wanted it to scare you.
These are pony cars, the Camaro was called the Hugger back in the day. Do you even know why? Because it hugged the road. For the time the Camaro was possibly the best handling car you could get stock from a factory.
I don't think his figure of $35,000 is true but if it is I may move to England. My opinion is ZL1 is a better built car so who cares how much more HP the Cobra has if you can't stay on the road. Plus, how many of us actually have 600 horses?

I like Camaro too, but I just prefer the power and the stance of the Mustang.
I have always been a die hard Chevy guy but you just can't help but love the sound and power of that mustang. Yeah I like the looks of the Camaro more and always have through the years but that's all personal opinion. Both cars are awesome machines!
Both of these gorgeous machines are absolutely sweeeet!!! If I'm picking one though, it's the shelby. I would have way more fun in it, I want something to scare me :)
I respect both but as someone said earlier the camaro sucks to be in. Makes you feel tiny
If I had to choose which one I'd like, I would have to imagine myself on a long highway trip and see which one is fun to drive going a long distance.
I want a muscle car to scare me and acasionally make me shit myself and the camaro just doesn't do it I respect it but the mustang is way better looking and more fun to drive. Which is what it's all about isn't it?
I agree the unbiased European was a great person to do this and the GT500 is still better cus he was driving slow on the track if he tried his best with both cars I'm sure the mustang would win

I'm a Chevy guy but would still go for the Mustang. I think I would just have more fun with it. I also love to sound of the GT500.

Finally someone had a good opinion of the zr1 vs the gt500 XD a muscle car is supposed to be crude, scare you, make you wonder if your getting out of it today. Which mustangs do much better. Who cares which goes around a corner?? ;)

For me, I'd take the mustang, I prefer it's looks, and love the sheer power of it. Sure, the zl1 handles better, but if wanted a good handling car that's fast, I'd take a cayman s for the money. That being said, if I want a powerful car, I'll take
