Description: Direct marketing is the latest trend in sales, but its invasive measures leave some reeling from an invasion of their privacy. A story recently emerged, for example, where a major chain store was trac...Add Comments1
Christopher WrightJul 31, 2012 I'm a big fan of direct marketing; this is a true success story and an amazing tactic to sell a high dollar good to the consumer. I don't think I'd mind learning my daughter was pregnant either, so bring it on. On a side note, I'm a huge fan of Google's tactics for direct marketing based on my habits in Google software!
John SerelyJul 31, 2012 @jackson this is the 991, which comes standard with teleportation! Why the hel* would they use keys?
Ghee ButtersnapsJul 31, 2012 @Jackson No, they obviously didn't use keys to move the car. Who does that? They had magical Porsche fairies pick up the car and fly it around!
Jackson RojasJul 31, 2012 how d they get the car to pose like that, did they take they keys and move it
John SerelyJul 31, 2012 @jay that is a 991 911 Carrera
Description: Pfaff Automotive recently hit some of the Canadian city's most affluent neighborhoods with a shiny new white 911 and a mobile printshop. They then photographed their car in (or in front of) the d...Add Comments6
Dale SchroederAug 01, 2012 Man, talk about high-pressure marketing. "Look, it was right here! In your driveway! Don't you want it there all the time? Of course you do..."
Alexander GomezJul 31, 2012 Nice, I wonder if any of them actually bought one.
Cameron Duncan CondyJul 31, 2012 Pfaff is awesome! They have two dealer ships in my town and they are currently the ones bringing the MP4-12C to Canada. There autobody shop is across the street from my work. Thanks to that I have seen 3 MP4's.
Bala UnccJul 31, 2012 I can use such a picture in Facebook:)
John SerelyJul 31, 2012 Haha that is a good idea. I really like it. Well done!
Andrew HubbardJul 31, 2012 That's a soiled plan. The director of marketing is a clever and out of box thinker. Props to him.
Description: The result? An astounding 32 percent response rate, meaning that nearly a third of those canvassed called the dealership to schedule a test drive. Those are some solid numbers, but would you have resp...Add Comments6
Jack BogardJul 31, 2012 I would post the picture on Facebook and say "Check out the free car I just scored" and watch people go bananas lol
Jason TurnerJul 31, 2012 32% is a very strong number! This campaign is pure genius. Interested to know how many people actually purchased a car.. Well done.
Alexander GomezJul 31, 2012 Nevermind, this campaign is genius!
Devin BabynJul 31, 2012 I think that would be the coolest junk mail you could ever get. If you do have a problem with them taking a picture of a car in front of your house then giving you said picture then you've got issues
Ryan SpencerJul 31, 2012 I agree. The slogan makes the campaign work well, really giving the prospective customer the idea of porsche ownership. Well done.
Max BondsJul 31, 2012 I actually think it was pretty clever. its not like they were tracking people's habits. just affluence.
Bull DogoneJul 31, 2012 Call the cops! (OK, Constable, it is Canada, eh?) A suspicious character is in our neighborhood.
I did this with my Lexus, though not in front of anyones house.
Rich people have the best landscaping for photo backdrops.
