If they use it as a KERS hybrid then I don't care. If it's a prius style hybrid that's horrible

Drove a lotus club sport down a runway and let me tell you most fun car I've ever driven.

Lotus cars are an absolute blast to drive. Certainly not overpowering any cars on the road, but a pure drivers car.

This is basically the Infiniti Emerg-E with different bodywork
Paul Dickey Jul 03, 2012
A lotus is never about top speed.
Walker Carroll Jul 03, 2012
Also. Remember that this is a lotus. Lotus are lightweight and traditionally have less bhp than their rivals
Devin Babyn Jul 03, 2012
You also can't pull I high speed out of electric motors. There's no gearing on them just one speed. So going fast is a lot harder on em ad drain your batteries stupid fast
Nick Schnee Jul 03, 2012
Every electric engine has more torque than HP Jose... even though it's just a hybrid. Anyhow, I'm quite impressed by the numbers. 414 doesn't seem Much, but when you consider that this is is lightweight...

The non hybrid evora has a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds but the hybrid is under 4??
Jose Miguel Fernandez Jul 03, 2012
They added too much torque and too little hp. So now it has an amazing 0-60 but a really crapy top speed
Isaac Taylor Jul 04, 2012
They could have done this better!!
Terrance Parker Jul 03, 2012
Now that's a light weight car
