2013 Lexus LS Shows Up Early

An advance look at the new flagship sedan from Toyota's luxury division.

Lexus is set to release its new flagship LS sedan in San Francisco on Monday, but a trio of images have emerged ahead of schedule to give us a glimpse at the new model. That first dark 3/4 shot was released by Lexus on its Facebook page, but a Chinese website has also leaked out a pair of images showing the new LS 460 F Sport. What we can see is a revised LS adopting the brand's new spindle grille design and more aggressive lights front and rear.

As an F Sports model it features a styling package with distinctive front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and faux rear diffuser with larger tailpipes. Expect the updated range to include the LS 460 (with its 4.6-liter V8) and LS 600h (with 5.0-liter V8 hybrid powertrain) in both standard and long-wheelbase versions.
