Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Lines Up Against Lamborghini Aventador
It’s Germany vs. Italy in this week’s edition of Drag Race Tuesdays.
The 2012 Olympic Games are drawing ever closer, but this week's edition of Drag Race Tuesdays jumps the gun, so to speak, with a German sprinter challenging Italy's finest athlete in a head-to-head showdown on the drag strip. On paper this might not sound a fair fight - the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG boasting 571 horsepower and the Lamborghini Aventador nearly 700 - however some shoddy driving combine with natural elements to create an exciting race right down to the wire.
The Benz, with its 6.3-liter V8, is quoted at a 3.7-second 0-60 time, while the white Lambo packs 6.5-liter V12 for a 2.9-second run. Does the SLS have enough to stave off the Aventador, or does Lamborghini's flagship put the Benz to the sword? Place your bets and check out the action below.
