Audi RS5 Cabrio Testing at the Ring
One of Germany's finest muscle cars is about to lose its top.
It was only last February that Audi debuted their refreshed 2013 RS5 Coupe and we immediately fell in love. After all, what's not to love in a 444-horsepower modern luxury muscle car? The updated RS5 benefited from the A5's mid-cycle refresh to further hone its sleek and elegant exterior lines. And as expected, the RS5 coupe will soon be joined by a convertible version, spotted here and likely to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in September.
The throaty 4.2-liter V8 will carry over directly from the coupe, only driver and passengers will get to hear its sonorous exhaust note better with the roof down. Performance might take a slight hit due to the added weight, but with that much power on tap, expect the difference to be negligible.
