Fiat Professional Unveils Versatile New Panda Van

The Panda lineup has been further boosted by Fiat’s commercial vehicle department with the new Panda Van.

The Fiat Panda has proven quite popular with European drivers on a budget. All the more so with the recently refreshed model. So to cater to commercial users, Fiat Professional has released a more utilitarian version of the Italian city car. Launching shortly in markets across Europe, the Fiat Panda Van will carry two engine choices: a 1.2-liter 4-cylinder Fire unit with 68 horsepower and 75 lb-ft of torque, and a 1.3-liter 4-cylinder MultiJet diesel with 74 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque.

The Panda Van features 35.3 cubic feet of space (around 1,000 liters) and an "easy floor". The load area offers even more storage space underneath as it easily flips open. An optional removable flashlight doubles as a compartment light in the rear. The exterior carries over essentially unchanged, but with a more utilitarian front bumper. Pricing starts at €8,850 for the base model and rises to as much as €11,700 for a fully-loaded model.
