Roush Announce RS Package for 2013 Ford Mustang V6

This is for anyone that wants their Mustang V6 to look like a GT.

Ford tuning specialist Roush recently revealed a new package for the 2013 V6 Mustang they have dubbed the Roush Six, or RS package. $4,000 gets you a mean-looking Mustang with a lowered suspension, Brembo brakes, a front chin splitter and 19-inch painted alloys. The aim of the modifications is to transform the V6 into a GT, however the changes are purely aesthetic in nature; the wheels may have been sourced from the V8 but there's no upgrades to the 3.7-liter V6 powerplant.

Other additional visual mods include a windshield banner, an optional hood scoop, rear quarter louvers and RS side & hood graphics. The interior is upgraded with embroidered floor mats, new pedals, a Roush badge for the center console, and door sill plates with ambient lighting. Optional extras include the GT's charcoal leather seats or Roush sport seats, a suede-wrapped steering wheel, and black shifter ball. Given the cost of all the extras, investing in a GT is probably the smarter move, although the alternative is a Mustang that looks like a GT but drinks via a more economical V6.
