DMC and Wildspeed Present the Aston Martin DB-X Concept

DMC loves them some British supercar-tuning action.

Two days ago, Aston Martin revealed that they will be reviving the 'Vanquish' name on the model that succeeds the popular DBS. Before the DBS heads out of production, however, German tuning firm DMC plans on producing a limited edition version of the powerful coupe, should there be sufficient demand of course. The DMC Aston Martin DB-X concept, as it is currently called, was prepared by the design team over at Wildspeed and shows off an aggressive body kit on the classic Aston.

The body kit comprises of a new front and rear bumper, with the latter receiving an integrated diffuser, along with new side skirts, roof scoop, hood and an optional centrally-mounted exhaust. The stock Aston Martin DBS packs a 6.0-liter V12 rated at 510hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. No word has come in yet as to whether the German tuners will be adding on any more power to the DBS, however with a top speed of 190mph and a 0-60mph time of 4.3 seconds, a nice little boost could do the trick in terms of sales.
