A Fiat Zagato? 500 Coupe Pondered by Coachbuilders for 2013

Is the Geneva 2011 Fiat Zagato concept coming to fruition in 2013?

As you may recall, the 2011 Geneva Motor Show played host to a terrific little Fiat 500 Coupe concept given the Zagato treatment by the famed Italian coachbuilders. According to the guys over at Automobile Mag, Chrysler has plans in place to bring the Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato into production as early as next year. The Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato was a smaller version of the hatchback that retained its seating for four capabilities. It had sly styling with typical Zagato-esque lines yet it still had a hatchback feel.

A double-bubble roof and dark 17-inch chrome wheels gave the concept a unique look. Finished in a bold gold with a dark chrome trim, it looked terrific on the Swiss stage. Future automaker's plans are harder to predict than just staring into the flames a la Stannis Baratheon and Melisandre in Game of Thrones-style, so there is only a 50/50 chance the slick Fiat 500 Zagato will actually arrive in the forthcoming year.
