Wald Gives JDM Toyota Vellfire Minivan the Lexus Look

The luxury people carrier and its sporty sibling built for Asia have been given a funky styling package.

Reserved for the Asian market, Toyota's Alphard luxury people carrier and the sporty MPV dubbed the Vellfire have recently been given added street cred by the Japanese tuning house Wald International. For the Vellfire, which is essentially the Alphard with an aero kit and different fascia, Wald added a new front grille apparently taken from the Lexus HS 250h. It then fitted a new front apron, side skirts, and a redesigned rear bumper integrating the diffuser and exhaust tips.

Chrome trim and the Lexus logo now also features between the tail lamps, and completing the styling package is a lowered suspension, roof spoiler and new set of alloys. The Alphard gets exactly the same treatment as the Vellfire save for the Lexus grille.
