You know what needs to happen? Bring back the Stealth Twin-Turbo. Make it technologically advanced, give it the new 9-speed transmission, AWD, All-Wheel-Steering. All that fun stuff. So yet can strut their stuff. I want that so bad.
Yeah Ralph Gilles already confirmed they're working on a SRT4 Dart, let's just hope it's AWD and not FWD.
I know that's why I don't think SRT will be an exclusive car company. I think they will have two maybe three exclusive niche vehicles at most, and still tune other Chrysler Corporations vehicles.
I think SRT should still tune other Chrysler products and have some niche vehicles to toss around. Otherwise goodbye Charger SRT8 and 300 SRT8.
I read the MT article and they said there might be a small roadster too. Sorry but I don't think a new Magnum will happen. I think it's more likely it will be a Crossfire or Prowler type of car.
For all you people that want SRT to be alone, don't forget that in order to meet federal standards, they have to bring average MPG up. In order to do this, they would also have to make small fuel efficient cars... Or maybe in a hybrid lol
SRT Magnum to compete with the CTS-V, at least performance-wise. Tons of people would enjoy the performance of that car, but most can't afford one. I doubt a new Magnum is in SRT's future, though. And I don't think the Dart SRT4 would count since the car itself is a Dodge with SRT tuning. And a new Demon would compete too closely with the MX-5. The new SRT vehicle will not be a rebadged/tuned Dodg...
srt6 crossfire was lame... new magnum would be awesome! love to see that new 426 in there... i think srt might turn into my new favorite brand, even if they don't bring the magnum back
I like how everyone forgets the obvious upcoming model that has yet to be officially announced: the Dart SRT4. I'm expecting a real competitor to the GTI, Speed3, and Focus ST.

the prowler failed because it was far underpowered, if they had stuck a v8 in there like some individuals did, it would've probably gone over a lot better
Even though I'm not a truck person, I really like that Dodge Ram and if SRT gets to work on that project, I couldn't even describe how aggressive looking and fast it would be. It's already good-looking than most Ford trucks in my opinion.
The Prowlers in the late 90s and early 2000s weren't great sellers and were considered a failure then, and I can't see them doing much better now. I personally liked the magnum but I don't think SRT will want to do a wagon as its 3rd model.

That's ridiculous, SRT wouldn't come out with something to compete with the Raptor. Besides, Dodge already has something to compete with the Raptor, although it's not a production vehicle it is a deal option! The Ram Runner, look it up.

@Kevin, the Solstice was RWD, it looks like you were under the impression that wasn't the case.
Copper head is the concept from few years back, and it looks alot better in person when it is copper. This color is killing a great idea for dodge. If they tone down the lines in the back it would look great. Id get this over the miata!

@Thomas I agree! I would love a SRT roadster as a daily driver. My Dodge Stealth is getting very old and I'd rather buy an SRT than a BMW Z4. Just my opinion.

This would NOT be replacing the Challenger. The SRT Barracuda will be the Challenger's replacement. As long as it's RWD (if it's built) unlike the Solstice/Sky, it could be a way to go. But I doubt SRT will go that route, as I said earlier.
Yeah I read about this, it's like a baby Viper concept, a cheaper 2 door roadster. Really not a bad idea.

Had (has) potential, but you know this is an old concept and if it's targeting the replacement of the challenger, it won't look anything like this...
Just imagine the new Dodge front end styling on this. Remember guys, this is from 2007 and matched pretty well with the rest of the Dodge lineup back then. Update it to fit the modern design language, and it would look real nice. I like it how it is, honestly.

The Viper looks great! Everything else looks too "chunky". Looks okay on trucks, but on cars.......not so much!

They need to make the chally lighter and give it some power. It looks soooo good but it cant compete with the mustang or camaro on the track.
Ya, ik out of the three pony cars, this is my favorite, just because it is the closest resemblance to the old chally, mustang is a close second, but if they changed the lights to all LEDs, that would be a welcome change to me...
I think the exterior is perfect on the car and shouldn't change at all. If anything, maybe a few small interior changes, but that's it
That dodge challenger looks like a dodge challenger, oh mannnnn what a blatant copy!
It's front air dam was changed in '11 as was the door handles, both welcome subtle changes. As was the new steering wheel and gauges. This car is such a head turner, you dont tweak it too much.... Just wish I could got the 6 speed.
I think all of the pony cars need a refresh, they just refreshed the mustang, but the camero and chally haven't seen big improvements
It needs a stripe running down one side of the car but other than that, looks great.

These things are fun as hell to drive too... All that torque and hp in a big truck, it's almost unnecessary but definitely fun

I understand where you guys are coming from. It's just where I live the truck guys are worse than any ricer. They think a 12" lift and mud tires add 100hp. They live in town and the trucks never see dirt or even get used to work
its not more expensive to build a track truck sometimes cheaper then a car since some truck have enough power from factory, i built my 87 s15 for under 2k droppend an inch below the factory 2wd truck, have a supercharged 3800 v6 gen II and a 5spd and i can beat most v8s cause the truck dosnt weigh much and its cranking 364hp at the wheels... i just find having a fast truck a better idea but i als...
Guy in our club traded his SRT10 in, tons of upgrades. Just was bored of it. Got a new 5.0, big change of pace, but thats what he wanted to do. Gotta respect someone who enjoys cars, regardless the brand.

@Abraham so? Car makers focus too much on their gas mileage and Eco friendly materials. I respect Dodge because they focus on making fun to drive and good looking cars. (with there being a few exceptions during the Daimler era)

@stephen, u have probally never been in a performance truck, its an amazing expierence and way different tearing up a track in a truck then a car, me personally i enjoy a fast sports truck over a car, everyone expect a sports car to perform good on a track, when u wow them with a truck its an amazing feeling
My old boss has one if these that runs a lap at new jersey motorsports park a little under six seconds slower than his mazda race car. Pretty impressive in my eyes. I like em.
I don't understand performance trucks. Offroading and towing capacity are awesome but all the money people spend trying to make trucks fast would be better spent on a car. You could spend the same amount of money and be faster
