Comments - Bodacious BMW Pickups

Published: Jun 20, 2012
Description: Even if you live in a dark cave, you probably know that BMW doesn't do trucks. The idea of a Beamer-badged truck is unappealing to just about everyone on Earth, which is what makes the existence ...

although the thought of BMW releasing pickups seems odd and sounds like it should never happen, i think BMW can actually accomplish making a pickup truck. maybe not an amazing one but definitely sturdy and good looking
Nicholas Britt Jun 20, 2012
I believe that a golfer named Stuart Appleby was maybe the first person to convert an M5 into a ute,and it ain't too bad...
William Downs Jun 20, 2012
omg the maloo, that thing sounds amazing i watched that episode alot just to hear that engine, that and.the bathurst vxr8. im with u as long as its done rite no problems. like the black m5 ute down below, looks like a factory model
Tegra1 Jun 20, 2012
I wish they would speak for themselfs, personally if it is done right I would like to see a BMW sedan pickup or Ute,look at the Australian market they sell the Maloo Ute by Holden and it is fast and nice,I would buy one.
William Downs Jun 20, 2012

Hamza Hamid Jun 20, 2012
Oh come on! I really don't like BMW pickups :(
Devin Babyn Jun 20, 2012
Are you saying you live there or that it's a dark cave?
Micah Lau Jun 20, 2012
If you live in a dark cave or Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Description: This BMW 730i pickup is a vehicle only a blind mother could love. This pickup comes complete with two rear death seats and a sticker of Uncle Sam on its rear windshield. If that's not enough to g...

Pmsl say no more!!!
Kyle Smith Jun 20, 2012
Damn right Logan
Logan LeMonnier Jun 20, 2012
Was has been seen cannot be unseen
Micah Lau Jun 20, 2012
I really wish I hadn't seen this image. I cannot erase it from memory, and I'm sure that it will haunt me.
Malachi Monteiro Jun 21, 2012
Oh God it got worse!
Clint Edwards Jun 20, 2012
@Nick as a redneck, I could do much better than this. We have actual trucks
Luke Murray Jun 20, 2012
What was that Antonio
Alex Eaton Jun 20, 2012
It loocs like a carnival ride with the lights ans seats
Nick Sti Jun 20, 2012
It's just for rednecks to drive around their farms
Micah Lau Jun 20, 2012
Is this vehicle street legal? If so, where? If this car was rear ended (or rolled over) it would be lights out for any occupants in the back. A simple rain storm would make for uncomfortable times, too.
Description: This M3 Ute has the honor of being deemed the fastest pickup on the planet. This April Fools' joke hit 186mph on the Nurburgring. All that performance and it can carry a max payload of 992lbs.

This is a cool m3
Malachi Monteiro Jun 21, 2012
I would drive one, should call it the M3T, It really isn't that bad.
Steven Velez Jun 21, 2012
@Luke don't touch the sacred e36 m3 man besides i like it better on this
Peter Mark Gacek Jun 21, 2012
You guys are just plain silly. This was a one off, April fools joke. A silly, expensive joke
Parker Field Jun 21, 2012
This actually looks cool
Clint Edwards Jun 20, 2012
I fail to see the practicality here. You lose the back seats you would use in a car, and wouldn't be able to haul anything you would use a truck for. If you want a car get a car. Want a truck, get a truck
Luke Murray Jun 20, 2012
Hell no it's okay doing it to a 1993 BMW but not this !
Matt Piccolo Jun 20, 2012
Better looking than any pick-up on the market lmao
Antonio Borja Jun 20, 2012
nitros and neons are both fails. I'll eat em up
Kyle Smith Jun 20, 2012
It wouldn't be able to haul much, it all boils down to its lack of low end torque. This is a high strung machine that revs to 8,000 rpm and beyond. And I love the M3 four door, more so than the coupe. There's just something about sporty 4 door cars
Matt Sutton Jun 20, 2012
Except for the black on the back of the cab, i like it. Well, the black is ok, not the pattern. I'll trade my dodge nitro for it any day.
Vincent Butler Jun 20, 2012
Anything is better then a Neon lol. Even a Kia!!!!
Dave Stewart Jun 20, 2012
Considering I drive a neon hell I'd drive it it's still a BMW and fast haha
David Pires-Ihsaan Jun 20, 2012
Not as bad as I thought when I first saw it... Then again, im now comparing it to the image above that shall not be mentioned by name..
Domi Bsaibes Jun 20, 2012
This is very practical! In fact, if i had the money and this really existed i'd buy it with a heartbeat!
William Downs Jun 20, 2012
how in the world is that not practical, practical would suggest it has no use, this is more practicle then the regular m3
Micah Lau Jun 20, 2012
Although not very practical (hence the April Fools Joke), this Threecamino is not all that bad looking.

Patrick Joseph Jun 20, 2012
Beamer? Come on. It's bimmer. Please take good note.
Kenneth Williams Jun 20, 2012
Appleby is a old timer.
chikenbag Jun 28, 2012

Phillip Greene Jun 21, 2012
It was a pretty drawn out joke that im sure no one but you took seriously, seriously get a life kid
chikenbag Jun 21, 2012
phillip, thats silly. you seriously think an old man deserves jail and a beating for spending his own money on his own car? it's a good thing you don't have any power lol
Mac Cook Jun 21, 2012
It's not based off a Holden ute... It was an E39 M5 sedan with the sides of an E39 wagon with a heap of custom work... Google it if you need to, had a heap of man hours put into it
Phillip Greene Jun 21, 2012
Yeah I totaly agrea making a prefectly awesome gm ute look like a bmw? This guy needs to see some serious time and be beatin (among other things) by his large tated up cell mate
Isaac Jacob Jimenez Jun 21, 2012
This is a total disgrace
Steven Velez Jun 21, 2012
i think it is great how it is
Ross Taylor Jun 20, 2012
it looks good as it is, but i think if the roof was chopped a little bit....it would look insanely good....it just pops up too much and doesnt go with the flow of the car if you get my drift....anybody else think so?
Phillip Greene Jun 20, 2012
Na im sure they prefer the real deal, droped chevys and other classics that are actualy worth owning
Alexander Garcia Jun 20, 2012
BMW has a whole window of opportunity here... Especially in the Mexican communities... Lowriders. theyd kill for one of these. / 50% Mexican
Phillip Greene Jun 20, 2012
Preformance parts maybe, but if you think this bmw will out last a 01 cavalier let alone a newer model your high as a kite
David Eslava Jun 20, 2012
This is a Holden with a customized front end, not even a real BMW. I love it though!
Heshoo Hanna Jun 20, 2012
This is what I'm talking about
Matt Piccolo Jun 20, 2012
What's not to like... Holy crap this is nice!!! :)
Antonio Borja Jun 20, 2012
christoffer you got a chevy. congrats and be ready to buy parts real soon
William Downs Jun 20, 2012
imagine how much fun a M devision ute would be
Matt Sutton Jun 20, 2012
Thats pretty sweet. Ive never been a fan of bmw, but id rock the hell outta that.
Dave Stewart Jun 20, 2012
I would love that lol
Christoffer Wassberg Jun 20, 2012
I like it more then the 2012 chevy we bought this is more b.a and probly alot more luxurious
Phillip Greene Jun 20, 2012
More like elcamino on on dope
William Downs Jun 20, 2012
the fact thats its a beatiful bmw m5 pickup makes it amazing, work is so clean looks factory.
Kenneth Williams Jun 20, 2012
That looks good. What the heck you talking foo
Logan LeMonnier Jun 20, 2012
The fact that it's a BMW pickup
Carlton Salmon Jun 20, 2012
What's not to like about this car?
chikenbag Jun 20, 2012
holy shit! do i have to go all the way to australia to have this done to my e39? the kids can find another ride I'm sure;)
Jared Michael Scalla Jun 20, 2012
El camino on steroids
John Serely Jun 20, 2012
Your right, devin
Brendon Davis Jun 20, 2012
This looks nice.
gammo66 Jun 20, 2012
this is my fav I'd be happy if my e39 looked like this
William Downs Jun 20, 2012
or is that a 3 series
William Downs Jun 20, 2012
that is crazy nice, makes me wanna buy a 5 series and chop it
Devin Babyn Jun 20, 2012
That's pretty damn badass
Jack Hufford Jun 21, 2012
Isaac, you said it once, no need again.
Isaac Jacob Jimenez Jun 21, 2012
This is a total disgrace
Dave Stewart Jun 20, 2012
It's actually pretty sweet I'd never use it as a truck but how many looks would you get? How many shows would u win unique aommuch u could do

I'm not convinced that the inside is worth $16k, however, I will accept that the builder spent that much on it.
Steven Velez Jun 21, 2012
oh looks like they did touch the e36...well its not bad but i like it better in its original state
chikenbag Jun 20, 2012
dang, this e36 looks almost just as good! not quite as professional of a job as that e39, but still pretty damn sweet
Cody Gillard Jun 23, 2012
my cars interior is banana your argument is invalid
Steven Velez Jun 21, 2012
im driving on a banana
Moe Sargi Jun 20, 2012
Loooks like an explosion of mustard hahah
Wilson LaFaver Jun 20, 2012
TooI much yellow
Dave Stewart Jun 20, 2012
Outside I'll take ... Inside meets spray paint
Logan Delony Jun 20, 2012
You'd have to put your sunglasses on at night. Lol
Alec Lindgren Jun 20, 2012
YELLOW!!!!!! lol
Dainius Kuodis Jun 20, 2012
All that yellow is making me kind of sick.
chikenbag Jun 20, 2012
wow, that interior is just horrid... I'd still take it though, honestly
