Description: Nissan's Juke-R combined the GT-R's twin-turbo V6 and the body of a Juke for a ridiculously powerful ride in a very pedestrian suit. The Ford Granada with Koenigsegg CCX insides follows in t...Add Comments27
Michael HendersonJun 23, 2012 This would be an awesome way to go through the pearly gates, doing 200mph (im guessing it will quite easily be capable of such speeds), backwards and on fire in a 1700hp Ford Granada super sleeper. Awesomeness at its best.
Jordan JacksonJun 20, 2012 This is the very definition of a super sleeper, the fact that so many people are asking why us exactly the point, you wouldn't see it coming until your staring at its tail lights from a mile away, lol
Tj DiefenbachJun 20, 2012 lol at some of these comments. This thing is amazing
Corey King DiFazioJun 20, 2012 That's a waste of power and ridiculous. What they should be doing is focusing on beating Bugatti for the top speed record
Den ZoJun 20, 2012 @Cody: I'm not so sure they would, Insurance here is invalid on racetracks, so the driver would have to take full financial responsibility. I know he is rich, but I doubt he is THAT rich. Besides, he doesn't have a 'egg anymore either...
Matt GreenleeJun 20, 2012 1700 hp!?! thats astonishing
Corey Alan KelleyJun 19, 2012 "I'm your grandmother behind the wheel of a 1700hp ford Granada, I peel out In the drive way fish tail and grind up the side of your ricer Honda civic just before I rip a whole through the house until I finally stall out in the kitchen."
Corey Alan KelleyJun 19, 2012 Imagine your grandma driving this bad boy that would make for an Allstate commercial
Cody MatthewsJun 19, 2012 Koenigsegg probably would relate one if it was killed.
Den ZoJun 19, 2012 He might have bought the engine from sharif him self or from the insurance company... But then again, I only remember that Tommy's car was a 'egg, not if it was a CCX or any other model...
Den ZoJun 19, 2012 It might come from a wrecked 'egg a few years back. Tommy Sharif bought one (norway's only I think?) and wrecked it at Rudskogen Raceway a few weeks later. I remember the 'egg people where ashamed of his driving "skills"
Cameron Duncan CondyJun 19, 2012 Who cares where he got the motor 1700hp!!! Love the retro look and clean late 80's cars. I say good job I hope he drives this beast and not just show.
Yves CorbeauJun 19, 2012 I loved that car and still do! That was my first car, a red V6 2.3L. In Europe that was big. Smooth ride and still, if I spot one, I have font memories.
Calogero RumeoJun 19, 2012 It would be pretty sick driving this and pulling up beside a fast car and just ripping it unexpectedly.
Ken KirtlandJun 19, 2012 koenigsegg only used a ford engine as the base for their prototype. it was from an f-150. also the ccx engine was not ford, it was entirely koenigsegg. they only used it in the cc (their prototype) and a far stripped down and upgraded form of one in the cc8s, but from then on its been all koenigsegg.
Chaz NealJun 19, 2012 Well in the beginning they used ford mod engines then the started casting their own blocks so it's really a ford in a ford
Da StigJun 19, 2012 I gave him the dang engine jk if I wer him I'd put it an a old m3
William DownsJun 19, 2012 i think the car looks extremly nice, its a nice classic body, may not be a sports car or muscle car but that makes it that much more unique and its very clean
Dave StewartJun 19, 2012 It's not how he got the engine he did so what he has money.. How did he fab all that into that thing amazing job that is just incredible work even if it's not the car we would use.
Maurice GambleJun 19, 2012 interesting concept, but where did the engine come from !
Domi BsaibesJun 19, 2012 The good question is how the hell did he get the engine??
Kenneth WilliamsJun 19, 2012 I think he Probly did because he thought why not. It's somthing new and never done before
William DownsJun 19, 2012 jesse u have 1 good point how they got the engine, why put the engine in a ford why not, maybe the guy liked the body, who knows its his car and its a great idea dont hate just cause u have a problem with his idea
Jesse DavidsonJun 19, 2012 Okay fill me in carbuzz exactly how did someone get the engine of such a rare car, why in all that is decent put it in a FORD, and what is the purpose for this, hyper rat rod
Nevzat ErboyJun 19, 2012 Even before this madness, this car had 600bhp cossie built engine.
Domi BsaibesJun 19, 2012 Wonder how much craftsmanship it takes

Ryan Patrick ClausonJun 26, 2012 That's real smart, grab the exhaust manifold and the turbo..
Michael HendersonJun 23, 2012 The smoke could be from anything. Spilt a bit of coolant when they topped it up, spilt a bit of oil when filling it, oil on their hands when they've been fitting the headers not to mention that most new parts come with some residue or coating on them
Jordan JacksonJun 20, 2012 The smoke is probably from the exhausts new heat wrap
Tim PreisingerJun 20, 2012 Would love to see the look on a Ferrari drivers face when this thing blows his doors off lol
Jason BartlettJun 19, 2012 The amount of work that went into shoe horning those headers in place there's bound to be a little oil and grease on them . Even fresh paint on them will smoke a bit.
Jason BartlettJun 19, 2012 Lol the smoke has nothing to do with the gaskets.
Otnay NatJun 19, 2012 When the gasket is new and the engine started on the first time, always generate that smokes ...
No PistonsJun 19, 2012 It's call the chemicals during the build ex WD40 liquid wrench spilled oil any fluid involved with the build
Mathew Caleb StanfieldJun 19, 2012 Never seen a new engine smoke that bad I think he wrapped the headers
Adam PageJun 19, 2012 That is way too much power for that car. I wanna see it moving...
Otnay NatJun 19, 2012 Very very nice !! Dunno how they can aquired the engine ... Fantastic indeed !
Justin TuckerJun 19, 2012 I bet that engine cost a VERY pretty penny
Carlton SalmonJun 19, 2012 Does this car actually have a bonnet? I'm sure the owners want to show off the engine at every given opportunity but I've only ever seen this car without a bonnet. Not complaining though.
Alex VasquezJun 20, 2012 Haha people need to do their homework more often.. European car companies borrow playforms and frames just like we do in America, for example Isuzu uses gm also. Like Chevy tracker and, Colorado and canyon.. Euro ford so happened to borrow mercedes
chikenbagJun 19, 2012 i see William doesn't understand sarcasm lolz
William DownsJun 19, 2012 thats cause it is a ford... read the article first before commenting, makes for less redundent questions
Jordan JacksonJun 20, 2012 Because you would never expect this thing to blow your doors off. Shock and awe all the way, lol
Tegra1Jun 19, 2012 Yeah did you see this bitch smoke,oh I am sure that it was a good thing for the engine. Why don't they put the motor in a better car like a mustang or even a Capri would be a better choice then the granada
