Pagani Zonda R Evo to Debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Somehow Pagani has improved and enhanced the capabilities of the ludicrous Zonda R.

It has come to our attention that the successor to the Pagani Zonda R, simply dubbed the Zonda R Evo, will make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012 that kicks off on 29 June. The ultimate track toy, weighing just 1,070kg with a AMG-sourced 6.0-liter V12 at its heart putting out 750hp and 524lb-ft of torque, has apparently been refined even further. Remember this is a car that sprints from 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds and that beat the Ferrari 599XX around the Nurburgring by 11 seconds.

Aerodynamic tweaks, improved weight distribution and a 10hp bump in power are the limited preliminary details we have on the car, which apparently will be driven by Bernd Schneider at the famous hill climb upon its unveiling in two weeks' time.
