Lamborghini Aventador Wrapped in Real Gold Unveiled in Miami

If a regular Aventador is priced at $379,700; how much for one sporting a special wrap laced with real gold?

This isn't the first gold-wrapped variant of the Italian supercar in the world, but it could well be the first to have used real gold in the special wrap.

Lamborghini recently unveiled a gold edition Aventador in China, but it doesn't compare to the brilliant finish of the "AU 79" golden Aventador recently unveiled by Lamborghini Miami CEO Brett David. Upon revealing the car in Miami Beach at an Exotics and Espresso event, there was no mention of whether the car would be put up for sale but David did reveal a short film would be made about the project and should be online in a couple of months' time. That Racing Channel were at the event, and has released a video of the gold-covered 6.5-liter V12-powered Aventador.
