2013 Ford F-150 Police and Fire Pickups Unveiled

Ford’s Special Service Vehicles Packages show off the truck’s versatility.

Ford has readied their Special Service Vehicles Packages for the new 2013 Ford F-150. The trademark pickup recently debuted in Waco, Texas, and the 2013 model looks even better in SSV trim. To meet demand for their flexible and versatile F-150 SSV, the package will be available for both the SuperCab and SuperCrew configurations, 4x2 and 4x4 models and with a choice of either a 360hp 5.0-liter V8 or a 365hp 3.5-liter EcoBoost engines.

The SSV package features a special interior with space for police equipment along with a 220-amp heavy-duty alternator, good for anything from running communications devices to law-enforcement equipment. Check out the Fire and Police-liveried 2013 Ford F-150 pickup trucks in the photos below.
