Porsche’s new SUV has been spotted getting some fresh air on the roads.

Porsche's baby SUV, the Macan, has just been spotted with minor camouflage on the roadways of Europe. This is the real deal and not a test mule like we have seen before. The Audi Q5-based Macan uses a fine-tuned chassis along with bigger brakes and new wheels which complement the Q5's platform and Audi's engine options. The Audi-sourced engines will be both gasoline and diesel plants tuned for more power thanks to Porsche's engineers. Those include a 240hp 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and a 290hp 3.0-liter V6.

Also taken from the Q5 will be a hybrid-drivetrain which uses a 210hp 2.0-liter TFSI engine coupled with a 44hp electric motor. The hybrid tech is expected to help Porsche achieve the 2015 emissions standards of 130 g/km CO2. The Porsche Macan will initially be offered with four doors while two-door coupe version could make its way out at a later date.
