For Sale: 2005 Saleen S281 Mustang (But it’s Cut in Half)

This is what you buy when you already have the real car.

Say what? The title pretty much says it all. Now you're probably wondering right about now just who could commit something as moronic as cutting a perfectly good 2005 Saleen Mustang S281 in half using a laser. The answer may surprise you because it was Saleen themselves for the simple reason of using it in a glass display that showed the car's insides. Literally, the car was cut in half right down the middle for the sole purpose of being a display model on the showroom floor.

For whatever reason, it's now up for sale on eBay Motors with an asking price of $28,500. Obviously, there's no chance of ever putting it back together again as a normal car, but for anyone with about $30k to spare, how awesome would this look mounted on the wall of your own private garage?
