The 1,200hp Hennessey Venom GT Does 260-Plus and Drifts... in Forza

John Hennessey recently sent out a clip of YouTube user Forza4You ripping up the track in the company's Venom GT. The 1,200hp monster of an automobile blasts from 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds and hits 200mph from rest in 15.3 seconds, destroying the Bugatti Veyron's time of 24.2 seconds. The Venom GT packs a mid-mounted twin Garrett ball-bearing turbocharged V8, good for the aforementioned 1,200hp and 1,155 lb-ft of torque. It is paired to a Ricardo 6-speed manual transmission.

It features a KW Variant 3 Adjustable Coilover suspension. At final count, according to Forza, the Hennessey Venom GT is capable of reaching 264mph in a straight line. The track drifting isn't too shabby either. Enjoy the Forza action below.

Only 6 units exist in the real world, while John Hennessey has said that the 7th is being built as we speak. That means the chances of catching some footage of real-life Venom GT drifting might not be so realistic.
