Special Edition Renault Twingo RS Red Bull Racing RB7 Revealed

That’s one hell of a long name for such a small, low performance, car.

To celebrate winning the 2011 F1 Constructors' world title, Renault has announced a limited-edition version of the Twingo RS dubbed the Red Bull Racing RB7. Aping the Clio variant of the same name the special edition Twingo RS has a black exterior with Sirius Yellow accents and a roof with checkered-pattern decal. It also boasts an F1-inspired front bumper blade, door decals in the color of the Red Bull Racing F1 team, beefier wheel arches and a rear diffuser.

Based on the Cup chassis, it has stiffer springs and dampers, sits 4mm closer to the tarmac and gets a set of 17-inch alloys. Inside, the cabin gets the same color theme as the exterior, with gloss black accents and yellow contrast stitching. The center console also boasts an individually-numbered 'FIA 2011 World Champion' plaque and a Renault Sport logo inlay features on the gear shifter. Under the hood a 1.6-liter engine develops 131hp and 118lb-ft of torque. Pricing for the Twingo RS Red Bull Racing RB7 has yet to be announced but it will be available in a variety of markets. A similar limited-edition Megane RS is also on the way.
