Spied: Jaguar F-Type Roadster Caught Testing in the UK

Sporting new camouflage, Jaguar’s all-new sports car has been spied cruising down the motorway.

Jaguar's upcoming Porsche Cayman fighter, the all-new F-Type sports car, has recently been spotted on the motorway near Oxford, England. This is around 70 miles south of Jaguar's Castle Bromwich assembly plant, where the car is set to be manufactured. The roadster will be powered by the automaker's new 3.0-liter supercharged V6 with somewhere in the region of 380hp.

Images of an F-Type R surfaced online last week, hinting at a new engine under the hood, the car being distinguished by a set of quad exhausts, with the standard roadster, seen here, sporting centrally mounted twin pipes. The flagship F-Type 'R' will be fitted with Jaguar's current supercharged 5.0-liter V8 found in the XJ, XFR and XKR, but detuned to around 450hp.
