Description: Upon closer inspection, it appears that there are paddle shifters behind the 911 GT3's steering wheel, meaning this mule is using a PDK. In terms of styling, the new Porsche has only a bit of cam...

I hope so. This wing doesn't look like it'd operate in clean air. Looks more like a spoiler.
Austin Bryant May 22, 2012
whoa such a difference /sarcasm
Logan LeMonnier May 22, 2012
Yeah I can kind of see the difference...for once
Thibault Leroy May 22, 2012
na im kidding i love the GT3 and this one looks really nice
Thibault Leroy May 22, 2012
yea perfection 10 years ago....
Peter Papen May 22, 2012
Some people don't get that the 911 is so close to perfection that Porsche only has to modify minor things :P
Lou Guerrero May 22, 2012
@ Sam, said about every new Porsche lol
Sam Oglesby May 22, 2012
Isn't this the old one
Lou Guerrero May 27, 2012
Not sure Sachin realizes this is a GT3 and may have a roll cage like the 997 does.
Leon Laplata May 23, 2012
991 GT3 will be bad a$$.....I hope the front end won't be identical to the aero kit they offer! Do you guys see similarities?
quadrophine May 22, 2012
Porsche has invested serious time money and man power to make there 911s exceptionally good on the track. and they have been historically some of the most successful machines for those who can take them to the edge, and keep them there.
Sachin Murthy May 22, 2012
Porsche is more about usability and accessibility and practicality. They aren't built to compete with the weekend cruisers they're meant to be everyday cars so it makes sense y ppl would want to put the same money into a different car..
John Serely May 22, 2012
Buddy is right, we would look similar to people who don't know what they are talking about, but we would be very smart, fast and all-around good!
Buddy Robinson May 22, 2012
No, if humans were like Porsches, we would look like apes but could read Minds and be incredibly strong
Lou Guerrero May 22, 2012
@ vince, the article says the production version will be higher.
Chris Gaines May 22, 2012
I bet if they changed the headlights ppl would be less inclined to see them as glorified vw beetles
John Serely May 22, 2012
Well guys, Porsche goes by the saying "don't mess with perfection" and they do a pretty good job
Josh ?hompson May 22, 2012
Porsche hasn't done anything radical and revolutionary because they keep trying to perfect on their heritage. I would drive a Porsche like crazy
Nick Smith May 22, 2012
I agree with gammo and the argument he's trying to make. But if I had the $$ it would be hard to not seriously consider a Porsche (no Boxster/Cayman tho). You know you'll get your $$'s worth
Vince Cassi May 22, 2012
You might disagree, but this looks too short for a GT3
James Woodchuck Norris May 22, 2012
looks like the panamera
gammo66 May 22, 2012
I understand the whole evolution of Porsche its just a bit on the slow side, if humans were like Porsche we'd still be apes. don't get me wrong they are good lookin cars, they're just not exciting to look at anymore
Carlos Gallego Rodriguez May 22, 2012
No, it doesn't need a big change, porsche is abaut the evolution. What it needs is a normal steering wheel ( not the electric one ) and a manual gearbox
John Serely May 22, 2012
@gammo and Justin it's not hard at all to tell between different generations and trims of porsches. It's like differentiating between BMW and a merc
David Pires-Ihsaan May 22, 2012
This is longer, lower, and sleeker than the predecessor.
gammo66 May 22, 2012
agree if I had the cash I'd never buy a Porsche over its competitors cuz they're all the same & just a bit boring to look at IMO
Justin Pedoto May 22, 2012
B that looks exactly the same as the old one, I hope that these are nothing like the real thing
Clifford Ting May 23, 2012
Stunning piece of car
Pablo Herasme May 22, 2012
I really don't like Porsches that much, but this is actually pretty slick.
Victor Takhanov May 22, 2012
Even the mule is nice
Sachin Murthy May 22, 2012
@Dennis good point I agree with that who wants to deal with hitting speed bumps
Dennis Choong May 22, 2012
Front overhang looks really long... will need hydraulic lifting dampers for better clearance
quadrophine May 22, 2012
kinda reminds me of the old gt1 maybe the longer wheel base, but I like the direction they're going in. it looks sportier. not that the previous generations didn't, this just mire so. longer lower sleeker
John Serely May 22, 2012
Looks really good!
Micah Lau May 24, 2012
What do you mean, Nick? Are you telling me that you wouldn't pull a 21' RV trailer with this thing?
Carlton Sofocusedon Green May 23, 2012
Not a fan of the wing on top of a spoiler look
quadrophine May 23, 2012
hahaha at Nick and micah
Nick Smith May 22, 2012
I'll assume that was a funny joke Micah
Tiago Santos Maia May 22, 2012
That's a bitch with a sexy ass!
Micah Lau May 22, 2012
The centre mounted exhaust will make it difficult to position a towing hitch.
Matt Piccolo May 22, 2012
Yea I'm loving that rear
Riku Herukka May 22, 2012
Looks great. Love the rear.
Cezary Koral May 22, 2012
Yum yum, even if it's a mule still loving it
