Everyone’s Favorite Crossover Gets a Facelift - Kia Sorento on the ‘Ring

Everyone wants a piece of the Nurburgring.

The Kia Sorento has a reputation for conservative styling, usefulness and being competitively priced. The Korean crossover/SUV has received a facelift for 2013 and spy shots have just come in to CarBuzz HQ from its latest testing session. In the wake of the completion of the 24 Hours of Nurburgring race, the 2013 Kia Sorento ran a few laps around the infamous German racetrack still carrying quite a bit of camouflage since we last saw it back in mid-February.

The car seen here lacks cover on the front and compared to the test mule we saw over in Sweden, this one appears to have different taillight graphics. At the moment, we don't expect powertrains to change so the refresh will probably just be focused on styling and upgraded technology.
