Scott. For the money it's actually a good value. You get good built quality and relatively cheap labour when you take it to the dealership. It's like a budget gallardo. Sort of. And the looks. What the hell it's the first time I hear a complaint.
Thibault - I do appreciate the concern for my eyesight but yes I have seen many in person. Just really don't think the design has any "passion" to it. I will say the drop top version does look better, but for the cash I would never consider this car.

Whaaat? Who could say this is hideous? I know it's opinion but most opinions are that this is absolutely beautiful.
Lights are absolutely altered - No brow shown. Drove a 2011 Red 5.2 ragtop with 700 miles last night and all I can say is WOW. The torque is wild and the sound coming from the rear is symphonic. Too bad my wife would notice it is not my S5!
@scott it looks gorgeous ! And it sold quite well before the facelift, that proves it . And the GTR is beautiful also
Still hideous. Easily the ugliest "super car" on the market. Even uglier than the GTR. It surprises me since the rest of the Audi line up is gorgeous. They've made stunning cars since the 90s. I think they totally miss the styling mark with the R8
The center grill is more angled, the head lamps look ok, but the rear is weird for me.
Let's see what changed... Headlights and nothing else really. Audi is capable of doing more than just new headlights, I think they should do what Porsche did with the 911, make a stripped down, more powerful version

It looks like it hit some roadkill before the picture was taken. At least wipe the blood scatter away
Facelift means some minor changes to small features, 95% of it will look the same
Despite the camera blurr over the head & tail lights it's actually nice to look at.. May not be as impressive as the A6 change, but still nice and once the LED's are revealed I think it will look awesome!
I liked the oval exhaust from the V10, but these are better than the V8's exhausts.
It needs a little something on the back....... Low-profile spoiler or something.
The white Part on the taillights is camo. the acctual One is Not ging to be Cut Off like that
If they can stretch the car a little longer and make the roof a little lower it would look baz azz.
I hope they allow the lower fog lamp in the US, the dealership i work for we put one on in the shop. US cars dont have them.
