Alex ArvanitisMay 19, 2012 Bassani* corrective text fail
Alex ArvanitisMay 19, 2012 Ya slp also did bundles for 03 cobra's, c5 vette's etc.
They has an slp 575hp pack for 03 cobras that was a pulley, intake, chip and exhaust for about $3,500 if I remember right. Made 480-495whp no less with a Bassein exhaust system headers back.
Phillip GreeneMay 19, 2012 Slp has been building fbodys since the the 80s they didnt work on the firehawks they buit them they were the first after market firm to get aproved by gm you could have there parts covered under warranty and financed with your car right off the lot and theres been an slp zl1 since 98 this just the continuation since gm took the name back
Emmanuel IrizarryMay 19, 2012 Actually the SLP that created the firehawks is not around anymore, I know I called them inquiring on how I could make my FIrebird into a Firehawk replica
Colin DzendoletMay 19, 2012 almost everyone has forgotten the SLP tuned firebirds and camaros of the 90s-00s, I used to see those badges everywhere
Patrick SchalkMay 19, 2012 SLP made their supercharged Camaro before the ZL1. It was a badass ride. I'd love to have an SLP built zeta body
Patrick SchalkMay 19, 2012 Yeah they did. My buddy has a 93 Firehawk with about 9k miles on it. It'd make a killing at an auction.
Cody AndreeMay 19, 2012 Slp is very respected Just ad Patrick says. They've been doing camaros for a while now. Not sure if they worked on the firehawks tho? Patrick you know?
Devin BabynMay 19, 2012 Ohhh damn my bad read that wrong
Alex ArvanitisMay 19, 2012 Slp is a tuning firm similar to steeda for fords except not quite as race proven.
Very oem caliber parts and dependable but at a marked price that screams business savvy meets demand and market conditions.
Again, similar not identical to steeda
Taylor LittleMay 19, 2012 If you can do it yourself you can get more hp for less money than that.
Abraham MendozaMay 19, 2012 Yeah, they first built the SS back in...'94?
Patrick SchalkMay 19, 2012 SLP doesn't blow btw. Its one of the most respected Camaro tuners.
Patrick SchalkMay 19, 2012 65k for 700hp?!?! Count me in! I'd totally buy that.
Kyle McCulloughMay 19, 2012 No devin. 65k includes the 30k donor car. Read the article
Laguna SecaMay 19, 2012 SLP blows, masters of bolting on after market parts and triple charging for it. You don't have the heritage or brand to demand these rates. Buy a factory ZL-1 which is leaps and bounds better and includes a warranty.
Brandon WhybrewMay 19, 2012 they charge more just cause they know ppl will still pay it and then they make a bigger profit. kinda like when the corvette zr1 first came out they raped ppl on them
Craig LafeyMay 19, 2012 @Mikey your right the sticker for ZL1 is 55k. Then we are getting ripped off here. So that's my mistake. Sorry guys
Craig LafeyMay 19, 2012 Mike I wanna move to wherever you live. Where I'm at they've been selling for 70-75k.
wfdownsMay 19, 2012 oh yea forgot, this may hve more power but zl1 was built around its power and has the magnetic ride controll shocks, zl1 would dust this on the track, strip maybe not
wfdownsMay 19, 2012 zl1 isnt expensive but gonna be hard to get one since there almost all been preordered and its a limited edition thing i believe
Mikey JimenezMay 19, 2012 @Craig the ZL1 cost $55,000 wow you're way off.
Craig LafeyMay 19, 2012 Even the base model comes with 15 more horsepower than the ZL1 and it's 20k less. But i agree with you. I'd rather the ZL1. That car is just badass.
Craig LafeyMay 19, 2012 Actually it's not badly priced. The ZL1 cost around 75k and you get 585hp. This is 65k and you get 115 more horsepower. Trust me I love the ZL1 but this isn't that bad of a price
Devin BabynMay 19, 2012 Wow just get a ZL1 and put a couple grand in. Way over priced
David ChoMay 20, 2012 @Wfdowns It's not the hood that changed you should read the whole comment before writing a stupid comment
wfdownsMay 20, 2012 if u read the article before speculating u would know its an after market hood, and it starts life as a ss camaro
Cody AndreeMay 19, 2012 Ya it would need the upgrades suspension
Caldera193May 19, 2012 This can't be a V6. The donor car needs to be an SS. The article said the car gets a new front fascia so they probly just ditched the scoop
Cody AndreeMay 19, 2012 I think the scoop is not in the hood. It's in the front clip
Malcolm BryantMay 21, 2012 haha your lame as hell if you like this interior for the price.. that's how I judge a car. price and quality. and by the way I have friends that have super nice cars so I've been in some of the best of them. what do you have?
wfdownsMay 20, 2012 hahaha funny the tool talking shit on the camaros interior drives a bimmer with a boring ass interior, idc what anyone says bmw look nice from the outside but there interiors look boring as hell, and comparing this interior to a souls just shows how worthless ur opinion has become souls interior got nothing on this
Patrick SchalkMay 20, 2012 You don't have to. We can tell from your sideways hat.
Malcolm BryantMay 19, 2012 lol I never said I was bad ass
Phillip GreeneMay 19, 2012 Yea you went and got you a used forein car at a police auction now you think your hot shit dont you, you this pony would strait handle your pos bmw
Malcolm BryantMay 19, 2012 and this car is lame... nothing else to it..
Malcolm BryantMay 19, 2012 who? I have a 2007 328i but no chevy's for me
Cody AndreeMay 19, 2012 Funny how u claim to be a straight up ford fan but in other recent comments u claim to have a 2009 traverse and BMW 328i. And you don't even have them input to your "my cars". So we all know your a troll
Abraham MendozaMay 19, 2012 The KIA souls interior looks like a playpen, with all that red and shit. Plus, if interior quality is an issue to you, you're a guy who doesn't care for cars, and takes beauty shots. If we're gonna shit on car interiors, the F40 doesn't have AC, quit being cheapskates Ferrari.
Patrick SchalkMay 19, 2012 Yeah I bet they do, all the ladies with penises. You're just a hater Malcom, it's ok. This car has haters so that means it's doing something right.
Malcolm BryantMay 19, 2012 my pic is from my facebook and the ladies love it
Malcolm BryantMay 19, 2012 ok how about you Chevy fans go compare this to the interior of any of the new cars and tell me what you think... hell the kia soul looks better then this on the inside.
Cody AndreeMay 19, 2012 He meant his display picture. Ya I don't think there that bad. Ur just a fool and ur display shows that.
Abraham MendozaMay 19, 2012 How could this picture be taken in 2007? That's a 45th anniversary steering wheel so this is obviously a 2011-12 camaro.
Phillip GreeneMay 19, 2012 Ha I was gona say go look at your 05 300 and tell me this camaros inerior sucks.... But that might be taken the wrong way
Patrick SchalkMay 19, 2012 No what sucks is you're a grown ass man taking pictures of yourself in front of a mirror like a middle school girl hahaha.
Malcolm BryantMay 19, 2012 there are a few kia's that look way better then this and the pick was taken in 2007 haha don't be mad at me because the interior of this car sucks hahahah
Abraham MendozaMay 19, 2012 What kind of Kia comes with a manual? And a 100mph speedo?
Patrick SchalkMay 19, 2012 Malcom, taking pictures of yourself in front of the mirror was 2005.
Malcolm BryantMay 19, 2012 the interior of a 2005 kia Rio... sad..
Oscar VacaMay 19, 2012 Ive driven a few of these and elk I have to say is its a nice ride and plenty of power buy it has a potato for a shift nob, very uncomfortable.
Daniel MarinoMay 19, 2012 Gold stitching would look really good!
Patrick SchalkMay 20, 2012 Yeah but I sure do love the sound of a roots supercharger. I know trick flow make some nice heads and cam combos so I might do that and build my future C5 with a procharged 408.
wfdownsMay 20, 2012 patrick gotta keep it n/a not enough people go that route anymoore, cars get more respect when there owning ass without forced inducton
Patrick SchalkMay 19, 2012 Nah it's an MTI clear lid. I don't have a FAST intake but I'll get one if I keep my car NA.
Cody AndreeMay 19, 2012 Aww patrick I hate those. Is it a fast intake?
Patrick SchalkMay 19, 2012 Mine has a clear air box lid :)
Daniel MarinoMay 19, 2012 Yea I always hated the plastic covers on the cold air intake
