Koenigsegg CCX Cruises the Streets of Monte Carlo

One of the fastest cars on the planet takes a spin around Monte Carlo trying to frighten the city’s elderly citizens.
The Koenigsegg CCX (Competition Coupe X) was first revealed to the public back in 2006. Six years on and it still looks and sounds magnificent.

Here we have some onboard footage of a white-on-red CCX prowling the streets of Monte Carlo, which does an excellent job of startling some of the city's elderly citizens thanks to the awesome snarl of the supercharged V8. Koenigsegg completely reengineered the Ford-sourced modular 4.7 liter twin-supercharged V8 before mating it to a six-speed manual transmission. All told, it produces 806 horsepower with a top speed of 259 mph and a 0-62 mph sprint time of just 3.2 seconds. Unfortunately we get to see the CCX barely breaking a sweat, but watching little old ladies get scared half to death is always a laugh.
