Buy a LS400 instead. V8. Cheap. Luxurious. RWD.
Steven Wilson Apr 06, 2012
The side is nice. The back looks good. The gaping mouth up front is even worse than an Acura beak! Change the front or watch your customers go to Nissan and Hyundai.
Patrick Joseph Apr 06, 2012
Hahaha I was gonna say that. You were faster than I. Unleashed is a pretty big word for this. Use released next time. Or unveiled.
Daniel Mcfarlan Riedmuller Apr 06, 2012
Please do not ever use Avalon and unleashed in the same breath.
Description: Just like the upscale 2013 Lexus ES that premiered this week, the Toyota Group's reworking of the 2013 Avalon has resulted in a car that offers a dynamic exterior and interior; a quantum leap for...

I doubt anyone cared about what was under there, unless your a retiree.
Paul Lissona Apr 06, 2012
Dropping it oh well, then sweep up the mess np haha.
Logan LeMonnier Apr 06, 2012
Because everyone was so excited about a redesigned Toyota sedan they had to build the suspense.
Abraham Mendoza Apr 06, 2012
Oh yeah, Bentley did that too right? Hahaha, copy cats!!
Rami Wilson Apr 06, 2012
I wish they would have dropped it.
Buddy Robinson Apr 06, 2012
Because they use a ferry crane to move it?
Nick Schnee Apr 06, 2012
BENTLEY RIP-OFF!
Description: Toyota has declined to comment on the available powertrains other than commenting that the engine will have six cylinders, so we can assume it will be a version of the 3.5-liter unit but the horsepow...

They haven't "declined to comment" if they commented. They declined to give specifics.
Scott Gracey Apr 06, 2012
Wouldn't surprise me if they bump it, maxima and impala both pumpin out more power, then again I don't think they'd mAke it faster than the es350
Zaire Wilkins Apr 06, 2012
i dont think its gonna get the maxima's type of power yet
Jessica Rivera Apr 06, 2012
If it is the 265hp engine, then it is More of the same Toyota has been offering for the last decade. IMO, it is time to increase to 300hp
Description: Numerous structural and chassis improvements have helped to improve the Avalon's ride quality, handling and straight-line stability. The sedan also offers three drives modes: Normal, Eco and Spor...

Camry lights and grille??? Ehh :/
Ceren Yıldız Apr 24, 2012
Where is the H badge? The same front facia of fd2 civic!
Aaron Snyder Apr 09, 2012
They really are in denial over at Toyota! A few creases and "youth oriented" makes for younger buyers?? Toyota makes snooze worthy cars that retires love! Would rather walk then drive a Toyota!
Adam Lefkowitz Apr 07, 2012
this will sell so nicely for toyota. the old avalon was for old people and it was a good substitute for more expensive cars that are sometimes less reliable/not even that much nicer if you really break it down. Toyota is a great company and they know how to market to their consumers. That being said they made a really ugly car, and it looks like a big fancy camry. car industry....goddamn why cant ...
Paul Lissona Apr 07, 2012
Bill, haha yah I'd rather have more maintenance issues to have a fun car than a Toyota.
Kumar Desi Apr 06, 2012
You guys are stupid this at was designed for old people, they would get this not some 25 year old
Pablo Herasme Apr 06, 2012
The front is so horrible that I would drive backwards so no one would see the front
Brad Wood Apr 06, 2012
Old people, the only demographic that would consider an Avalon, won't go near this car.
Michael Beach Apr 06, 2012
Holy lower grille batman!
Garrett Serrano Apr 06, 2012
Looks like hyundai sonata very disappointed
Paul Lissona Apr 06, 2012
I wouldn't pay that much for an lfa either, even if I could.
Bryan Wesly Pascual Apr 06, 2012
Why is everyone copying each other's hexagonal grille?
Kan Wes Apr 06, 2012
Where is the front bumper?
Paul Lissona Apr 06, 2012
Pretty much all a mistake and had to copy sonata hybrid in front.
Logan LeMonnier Apr 06, 2012
Lol @ Matt the only one to say something good as usual. It seems impossible for Toyota to build a good looking car! Why!?!?!
Dylan Bruder Apr 06, 2012
Oh boy that is uhh....well let's just say and most of you thought the impala was bad haha
Cole Rocheleau Apr 06, 2012
Haha what an ugly car...
Walter Alexander Thomas Apr 06, 2012
Even though it is about the best looking Toyota. I think Toyota offers the ugliest vehicles other than Honda.
Brad Wood Apr 06, 2012
What does it tell you when Toy-Yoda starts copying Hyundai styling? The Japanese are running scared.
Abraham Mendoza Apr 06, 2012
Looks like a worser version of the Sonata hybrid. As if THAT car wasn't ugly enough.
Stephen Cobbs Apr 06, 2012
Why do car companies want all their cars to look alike?!?!?! The Camry has that stupid grille too.
David Munasinghe Apr 06, 2012
What's up with the grill?
Matt Piccolo Apr 06, 2012
The only part I don't like is the huge grill at the bottom, other than that I don't know what all the complaining is about, looks great
Michael Evans Apr 06, 2012
Kinda of Sonta hybrid
Sir Mark Anthony Apr 06, 2012
front bottom grill looks horrible!
Rami Wilson Apr 06, 2012
How do you ruin an avalon or a camry they both sucked from the start.
Timothy Hooker Apr 06, 2012
After seeing the new Camry I had no doubt they would be able to ruin the Avalon as well..great job Toyota
Ken Louise Apr 06, 2012
Front bottom grill too big.
Jay Mauran Apr 08, 2012
Just so hideous! It leaves you absolutely speechless.
Josiah Thomas Clements Apr 07, 2012
Well... It looks like a boat on wheels...
Paul Lissona Apr 06, 2012
Ik these are huge to me.
Knox Ferraro Apr 06, 2012
Damn, why not add another foot to the trunk?
Jay Mauran Apr 08, 2012
Looks like about a 4ft overhang in the rear, one would have to be careful cornering it might swing out and hit something.
Benjamin McCormick Apr 07, 2012
The back looks good. I still despise Toyota, but at least they're making some progress from a design standpoint. Not the least bit surprised all of the "fanboys" can't appreciate some sort of progress, no matter how ultimately insignificant it is.
Jessica Rivera Apr 06, 2012
I see Jaguar XF, kind of
Zaire Wilkins Apr 06, 2012
this actually is pretty good looking and it dosent look like a yota
Paul Lissona Apr 06, 2012
Hard to believe that says Toyota ha.
Cole Rocheleau Apr 06, 2012
Optima is right... Looks identical....
Chayton Garverick Apr 06, 2012
Big taillights, too big
Logan LeMonnier Apr 06, 2012
Back profile is ok
Walter Alexander Thomas Apr 06, 2012
Not bad but I see KIA!!!!!
Matt Piccolo Apr 06, 2012
It's okay, not bad
Benjamin McCormick Apr 07, 2012
Does this angle strike anyone else as a replication of an early aughts Caprice?
Kumar Desi Apr 06, 2012
Chevy dodge gm vw all have fake leather it's not a luxury car...
Knox Ferraro Apr 06, 2012
This is poor. And how am I supposed to put a coffee cup in the cup holder?
Phillip Holbrook Apr 06, 2012
Making the new Impala look good IMHO.
Jessica Rivera Apr 06, 2012
Hate the fake leather!!
Timothy Hooker Apr 07, 2012
Looks lile a blue whale coming at ya
Zaire Wilkins Apr 06, 2012
do i see accent LED's
Walter Alexander Thomas Apr 06, 2012
Toyota Camry/Corolla fog lamp housing.
Abraham Mendoza Apr 06, 2012
I hate Toyota's new grille. It looks dumb, and looks the worst on the Camry.
David Munasinghe Apr 06, 2012
Please loose the grill
Matt Piccolo Apr 06, 2012
Everything but that huge grill is nice
Michael Evans Apr 06, 2012
Kinda of looks like it is dopey
Jessica Rivera Apr 06, 2012
I don't think they will redo the front, I used to have a 2005 Avalon and that was the worst part of the car. Although I think it's a really nice auto, the front makes it look like a Buick or a car for old people
Zaire Wilkins Apr 06, 2012
the new altima has that same roofline slope and same side windows
Jon Ashley Apr 06, 2012
the front just looks to much like a camry with a messed up grille
Sir Mark Anthony Apr 06, 2012
They need to rethink the front of this car....the bottom grill is out of place....looks like they took a ford grill and dropped on the bottom....just down right ugly!
Forrest Wood Apr 06, 2012
Front end is hideous
Andy Demar Mexicann Cho Apr 06, 2012
Def much better than front.
Boyd Boudreaux Apr 06, 2012
This end looks good that's about it
Zaire Wilkins Apr 06, 2012
messed up lexus interior only nissan and honda can duplicate their acura & infiniti interiors into the there vehicles with out adding extra stuff
Paul Lissona Apr 06, 2012
Yes that's true their ugly, you should see the early 90's Toyota horrible interiors.
Shaun Conroy Apr 06, 2012
Toyota cannot make a good interior, despite their numerous models.
Abraham Mendoza Apr 06, 2012
Center stack looks out of place. As if they pasted over a regular dash.
