Acura NSX Arrives at Beijing Auto Show in Sultry Shade of Red

A passionate shade of red covers the NSX as it makes its Asian debut in Beijing.

Most car manufacturers present their new cars in neutral shades of silver and grey as these best showcase a car's lines and designs. At both the Detroit Auto Show in January and Geneva Salon in March, Acura followed this convention when exhibiting the NSX Concept. However in China, Honda's luxury brand decided to go against the grain and display the hybrid sports car in a sexy shade of red.

Acura claim the new NSX will launch in China after it hits US showrooms sometime in the next three years. Like its forbearer, the NSX Concept is powered by a mid-mounted next-generation VTEC V6 with direct-injection, sending power to the rear wheels. Combined with the automaker's excellent Super Handling All Wheel Drive hybrid system that incorporates three electric motors, it can instantly generate negative or positive torque to the front wheel during cornering.
