When it comes to cars, few are as lusted over by gearheads more than the Lexus LFA. A big part of what makes the LFA so desirable is the fact that it's so damn hard to get your hands on one. Only 500 LFAs are being made, each coming with a base price tag of $375,000. That makes each LFA pretty special, but to paraphrase a line from "Animal Farm," some LFAs are more special than others. Mark your calendars for the year 2014; that's the year that the LFA Roadster will dominate the automotive world. The LFA Roadster will be identical to its hardtop sibling, housing the same 4.8-liter V10 engine that produces a whopping 552hp and 354 lb-ft of torque. The LFA Roadster differs from the coupe in the looks department (it's purtier) and in price ($700,000).

You've got to wonder if Han was driving a Tokyo Edition LFA in the end of "Fast Five." (He wasn't.) The Tokyo Edition LFA cost an extra $52,468. All that money buys you an ultra-rare supercar with an exposed carbon fiber roof and a hydraulically adjustable carbon fiber rear spoiler.

The Nurburgring LFA has a stronger engine has a new 6-speed sequential transmission pumping out 562hp. accompanied by a new suspension. The Nurburgring package checks in at an additional $70,000, and its run is limited to 50 units.

TWS Forged went above and beyond the call of duty when they showed off their tuned LFA at the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon. This purple track eater features a massive spoiler, a set of custom TWS wheels and a large rear diffuser.
