Shelby Cobra Gathering in California Proves Looks Improve with Age

A Shelby Cobra reunion is always a welcome sight.
This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the iconic Shelby Cobra. Carroll Shelby's signature creation has sparked some of the most popular models in America and the original proves that some things just look better with age. Drew Phillips was on hand at Team Shelby Pacific Coast Division's event at Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, where a few dozen Cobra owners gathered for a memorable reunion. Located in Pomona, California, the event drew plenty of locals and their classic and modern Cobras.

The NHRA museum also had a few iconic Cobras on display as well, including the first-ever production Cobra CSX2001, the "Dragonsnake" Cobra dragster and a model used at the Shelby School of High Performance Driving.
