The S-Class will never be this edgy and sporty... But still MB soul intact.
That's the prob with the "it's still merc mentality" - people drive around in c classes and act like its an s class. This thing is weak

Why cant MB ever get their designs right? I liked the McLaren SLR, but everything else was just poor from the outside. The C Class, horrid as it is, I would not even touch with a ten foot pole!

This is a coupe. A coupe and a sedan is not determined by the number of doors, you can have a 4 door coupe or a 2 door sedan. Anyway, I think it kinda has body lines of a VW CC, but I think it looks cool.

It's avant garde. Just like in fashion, the ideas start out crazy and over the top on the runway to give an extreme example of the idea being represented. Then more practical adaptations of the same ideas are what make it to the streets.
From the neon green interior accents, to the headlights that seem more complex than the engine... this whole car makes me wonder what the hell MB is thinking.

I think that's pretty cool, not genius or innovative. I guess this car is focused on the younger generation seeing how It's very sporty and aggressive.
I've never seen such a silly list of features that I hope DON'T make it to production.
I think he was trying to put the accent on the 'e' in coupe. My last name is Ramirez with accent on the 'i' but as you see it turns up weird on Carbuzz lol.

Interior looks too cheesy, Mercedes has got a lot more class than this. The rest of the car is phenomenally beautiful. I've never said this about a Merc(except the SLS) but I would definitely want to own one, if the made this concept just the way it is.

I agrees with Tomas, and I kno this argument is useless because everyone has their own opinion. theyre attempting to mold the definition to their purposes, and I think the simple 2/4 door distinction is enough. it doesn't change the cls's sexy looks
I also think it is lame of them to make stylish sedans and call them coup�s for morketing purposes. Why not just make an awesome, inspired designs for saloons?
a coupe doesnt have to be a 2 door. It can be a 4 door as long as it keeps the coupe lines and dimensions
@Chris, there is no set definition for a coupe because every maker has its own definition. In this case I just said the general characteristics of a coupe are present in this model.
wouldn't the RR phantom coupe technically be a 2 door sedan? nope, even with reclining seats in the back. it's all a marketing ploy because automakers know "coupes" are desirable
this isn't a sportier version of anything, and it has 4 doors. what makes this different from a sedan? the slope of the roofline? who cares, it's simple: sedan=4 doors. coupe=2 doors.
@Colby, A Coupe is generally a hard-topped sports car or a sportier version of a sedan. It doesn't have to have 2 doors.
