‘Top-Secret’ McLaren Shooting Brake Estate? Rendering Released

McLaren is planning a shooting brake along with a successor to the F1.

Could McLaren be following up their much-acclaimed MP4-12C supercar with a Ferrari FF-style shooting brake? According to the blokes over at Auto Express UK, the British company is doing just that. The site reports that McLaren has been "working on a top-secret shooting brake estate" that could very well undercut the expensive Ferrari FF by around £80,000. That means a luxury super-shooting brake that could carry a price-tag of £150,000, compared to the FF's £230,000.

The McLaren shooting brake would obviously have plenty more trunk space than its MP4-12C predecessor and, with a lightweight carbon fiber build, could utilize its 592hp 3.8-liter biturbo V8 engine to sprint from 0-60mph in around 3 seconds and achieve a top speed of 205mph.
