New Color and Options for 2013 Chevrolet Corvette

The iconic sports car will be launched in a couple of weeks with a selection of new updates including a new shade of blue.

Chevrolet is planning a few additional updates for the 2013MY Corvette, the last of the current-generation C6, which will officially launch later this month at the National Corvette Museum Bash in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This includes the introduction of the Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition, a limited edition model with a 505hp 7.0-liter LS7 engine, said to be the fastest Corvette convertible ever made. The first was sold at a charity auction event this year for $600,000.

All 2013 Corvettes will also be available with a special 60th Anniversary Package, marking 60 years since the first Corvette was launched in 1953. The package includes a unique Arctic White exterior, a ZR1-style spoiler, gray brake calipers, special badging including "60th" emblems, and a Blue Diamond leather-wrapped interior with suede accents. According to CorvetteBlogger, there will also be a new exterior color called Night Race Blue, while Black Painted Aluminum wheels will replace the previous Competition Grey wheels.
