Yes but the a class is bigger so the weight could compensate for the horsepower, in a bad way.
That's stupid: the Golf R is a 270 hp AWD, so it matches the S3. This beast is more at the level of a 1M and, as the article says, of an RS3. Forget the Golf.

@michael I know what you're sayin lol in comparison it doesn't compare to other Amg engine sizes but if it has the performance to back it up it won't matter lol
Expect 0-100km in 4.5 sec. Mercedes-Benz have always been a bit funny about making their cheaper AMG products faster than the high end ones.

I'm sorry but I'd feel like a clown buying this. Then talking to other AMG owners about their 500+hp twin turbo V8's and be embarrassed when they ask what i have and i say i have the A25 AMG with a turbo 4 lol
I think that AWD will ruin the driving experience of the car. But I'm aware it has to happen because as much as 350 horsepower will be too much power for powering simply the front wheels. My guess for an engine would be a more powerful 300 hp engine.
Can't wait to see the torque figures on AMG's new baby, and most of all, as they have AWD to play with for traction, will there be a overkill black edition??
